Our Services

What We Do

Little Hands Big Dreams Pediatric Occupational therapy provides services both in home and at a clinic setting. Pediatric occupational therapy helps children build the everyday skills they need for life using play. We work on coordination and strength, hand skills for feeding, dressing, and writing, and sensory processing for attention, self-regulation and much more. We also coach parents on strategies at home and school so kids can participate more easily in routines, learning, and play with others.

Who We Help

Infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children.

Developmental delays, autism, sensory processing differences, fine and gross motor needs, feeding concerns, self-care challenges, attention and regulation needs.

Early-Intervention

Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI) is an evidence- based, playful, movement-based approach that helps children make better sense of the world around them. Every child takes in information through their senses, what they see, hear, touch, and feel in their bodies. When the brain has trouble organizing that information, everyday tasks like dressing, eating, focusing, or playing with others can feel overwhelming.

What Ayres Sensory Integration® is

Many therapists use the term sensory integration; however, Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI) is different. It is an evidence-based approach created by Dr. A. Jean Ayres. It is defined by a formal Fidelity Measure that protects the quality of treatment.

What ASI does

Through ASI, we create carefully designed sensory experiences that challenge and support each child at just the right level. Using swings, climbing equipment, and playful movement, children build stronger connections between their body and brain. Over time, this helps improve coordination, attention, confidence, and participation in daily life at home, in school, and in the community.
